Gorey Fever

I bought Ascending Peculiarity : Edward Gorey a few years ago and only read a a few pages. Recently I picked it up again and it got me craving to read all his books. The 21 interviews from Ascending Peculiarity were conducted between 1973 and 1999 by a variety of people. They provide autobiographical perspectives on writer and illustrator Edward Gorey (1925-2000). These conversations show how unfailingly charming, gracious, and fascinating this artistic genius was. Gorey wrote more than 100 books but most of them were published obscurely and are difficult to find. There are 4 omnibus editions which compiles most of these short books together and they are Amphigorey (1972), Amphigorey Too (1975), Amphigorey Also (1983) and Amphigorey Again (2006). These are the 4 books that I hope to get my hands on soon. You can read one of his books, Gashlycrumb Tinies, here: http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/stage/7535/gorey.html You can even view the books on youtube with naration. Here's one from The Epipleptic Bicycle:

I have Amphigorey and Amphigorey Too. I'll lend them to you if you'll let me borrow Ascending Peculiarity. :)

Hey Georgette, that would be great. I would have guessed that you have his books. :)

I loved Gashlycrumb Tinies when I saw it somewhere. Then I stumbled upon Amphigorey at Book Castle. And I ordered Amphigory Too from Kino.

However, I don't understand the half of it and don't mind discussing it with other readers. I mean, some of the stories are just so WTF.
