Arte Luise Kunsthotel

Do you love Art so much you wanna sleep with it? Then welcome to Arte Luise Kunsthotel (Art hotel) in Berlin, Germany. The hotel offers almost 50 rooms, a generous lobby, and an art gallery for holding events. All rooms were decorated by a renown artist, whereby the entire room was included in the concept. Thus, every room is unique and original. There are sculptures in the lobby. This combination of a truly unique location, the inspired manifestation of enormously diverse artistic concepts, and the pleasant urbane atmosphere of our small hotel make a stay at the "Luise" an incomparable experience.

Once (is not enough)

This is a nice Irish musical film with a down to earth storyline. Its about a couple of struggling musicians. The actors are real life musicians by the way, and I really like their music & dowmloaded the soundtrack as well. This is quite a successful Indie-movie (I'm a fan of Indie musics and Indie movies) and received extremely enthusiastic reviews and awards such as the 2007 Independent Spirit Award for best foreign film. Hansard and Irglová's song "Falling Slowly" received a 2007 Academy Award for Best Original Song and the soundtrack as a whole also received a Grammy nomination.

Die or revive?

Should I let this blog die or revive it? It look so dead to me. haha. What a shame. I still have lots of ideas & stuffs to blog but sitting down & actually putting them on the blog is what I am so lazy to do. I think I really need to motivate myself & stop giving excuses. hmmph...now where do I start? Well, mayb update you guys on what I've been doing lately. I have too much to do at work. One exhibition after another. But Hari Raya coming up soon. Hurray! Need a break. Also been bz with my apartment. Got the grill, lighting & fan done. Already bought the DIY curtains but not yet put up. Err...next gotta shop for cushion cover, bed and cupboard. Almost done. It really is hard work furnishing an apartment no matter how small it is. Spent too much time shopping & comparing prices. Also need to clean up the place...so dirty. :(

Unsettling Sunset

I finished this painting yesterday. It's an emotional piece about a point in life when you think you are supposed to be happy because you have reached your goal and acquired what you think you really wanted but somehow you are still unhappy and unsatisfied.
